Saint Leonidas
Saint Leonidas with the Saint women lived during the reign of King Decius (249 – 251 A.D.) in the Peloponnese. They were arrested and martyred for their faith. They endured stoically, chanting and praying on their way to martyrdom. In 1916, under the foundations of the ruins of the holy church of the Blessed Virgin Mary the relics of the women were found as well as the remnant of the saint, which emitted a pleasant scent.
