Saint Nina
Saint Nina or Nino of Cappadocia, daughter to pious parents devoted to God, was raised by the Abbess Niofora. While studying the Gospels she felt the urge to find the earthly Robe of the Son of God and pleaded the Virgin Mary to help her visit the land of Iviron to worship the Robe. The Virgin Mary offered her a Grapevine Cross and asked her to preach the word of God, which she did around the 3rd century A.D. in Georgia. In the place the Robe was reserved she built the Church of Saint Stylos.
