Saint Vyacheslav or Saint Vachlav

A son of the Christian Vladislav I, Duke of Bohemia, and Drachomira, a pagan who was baptized Christian in order to get married, Vachlav was born in 907 A.D. and was murdered by his own brother on September 28, 935 A.D. At the age of 13 when his father died, his mother took over the power and his grandmother "guided" him to Christianity. The jealousy of Drachomira for the grandmother's influence over her grandson was the reason she ordered for her murder in 921 A.D. In 924 A.D. Vachlav undertook the governance of Bohemia and sent his mother in exile. He defended the Christian faith, built cathedrals and fought against the contestants of his power. His brother Boleslav ordered the murder of Vachlav on September 28, 935 A.D.
